This luminous eye makeup is quick and easy—you can do it five minutes before you leave the house.

The Technique: Using a silver gel eyeliner, draw a thin, short line along the lash line about one-quarter of the way across from the inner corner of the eye. That's it: you're done!

The Brow-Raising Silver Streak

Model Gigi Hadid with a glittering eyebrow look backstage at the fall 2016 Giambattista Valli show in Paris.

The brow bone is already a popular spot for applying shimmery highlighter, but this version uses a bolder, more defined line than usual.

The Technique: With a small slanted-tip eyeliner brush, draw a line of silver pigment right up against the bottom arches of your eyebrow. If you want to dial it up, extend the color past the natural tip.

Glitzy Cat Ey

The sparkling eyeliner look from the fall 2016 Marissa Webb show in New York City.

If you're just easing into this whole silver makeup thing, try livening up basic black liner with a silver streak.

The Technique: Start by lining your top lid with a black gel eyeliner, then add a winged flick at the outer edges of your lash lines. Wait for the black to dry, then, with a silver liner, layer on a thin line across the middle of the black line. Finish off with a little mascara.

When you want to give yourself a quick, stand-out manicure, try this technique that will have your nails dazzling all week long.

The Technique: Apply a clear base coat to your nails and let dry. Add silver streaks on each nail, placing them in different positions (you can add more than one stripe per nail!). After the streaks dry, seal it with a top coat and you're good to go.

Smoky From Outer Space

The eye-makeup look from the Angelo Marani fall 2016 show at Milan Fashion Week.

Forget about the extra-dark, sultry smoky eye and get onboard with a metallic version that's much more exciting.

The Technique: A metallic eyeshadow palette will be great for this look. Start by drawing a U-shape with a shiny black pigment from the outer corner of your lash line to the top of your lid (right under the brow bone). Then progressively fill in the negative space between the outer corner shape and the inner parts of the top lid with darker and lighter tones of silver, allowing the lightest shade to shine at the inner corners. Top off the lid with a clear eye or face gloss.

Silver Spoon French Manicure

The manicure from Jonathan Simkhai's spring 2016 show in New York City.

The Technique: Paint the entire nail with a pale pink color and let it dry. Dip a fine-tip brush into black polish and line the curves at the top and bottom of the nails, right up against the cuticle. Then put silver on the tips—instead of drawing the line, firmly place the brush down on its side and then roll your finger away.
