Pair a classic cat eye with a futuristic burst of light that pays homage to the icy chill in the air—without the shivers.

The Technique: Draw a thick line of silver on the top lid, starting at the lash line, then extend the line into a winged shape. With black liquid eyeliner, draw a thinner cat eye on the lash line; make sure some of the silver is still showing—this is a double-liner look! With your fingertip, dab a silver highlighter into the inner corners of your eyes and add as much as you want, depending on how brightly you want your eyes to shine. Finish off with a coat of mascara.

When you need to get out of the house but you look like you pulled an all-nighter, add a touch of delicate pink to your lips to warm up your face.

The Technique: This simple and natural look can be done with or without shine. Swipe a pink-tinted balm onto your pout, focusing the color on the middles of your lips, and do a quick blend with your fingers on the edges for a hazy effect. To add shine, find a pink lip liner that complements your skin tone and fill in your lips. Add a top coat of clear lip gloss and you're done! (If you still have time, groom your brows to complete the clean look.)

Keep things uniform by applying the same shade to your eyes, lips, and cheeks: this look is the definition of effortless pretty.

The Technique: Pick your color and blend the shade into your eyelids from lash line to crease. Add the color to the apples of your cheeks, blending the hue outwards for a soft finish. Finally, glide the shade across your lips and blot with a tissue. Define the eye with black mascara.

Draw attention away from your tired eyes with a graphic shape that's unexpected: it's the antidote to any gray winter day.

The Technique: Fill your lid from lash line to brow bone with a soft golden eye shadow. Dampen a shadow brush and apply an orange shade, drawing a slanted, thick line right under the brow bone. Press concealer into your under-eye area to clean up any residual eye shadow, and apply a coat of mascara to your lashes.
