Pinks and Metallics
Pink is pretty on its own, but when you add silver to the mix it gets a whole new party-girl vibe. That doesn't mean you have to save this look for a special occasion, though; be the person who wears metallic eyeshadow whether you're chilling at your friend's apartment or out dancing until 4am.
The Technique: Apply a shimmery light pink eyeshadow over your top eyelid, from lash line to crease. After you blend the color out towards your brow bone, line your upper and lower lash lines with a hot pink shade. Then, on your bottom lid, draw a silver line that's parallel to the hot pink, blending the metallic hue to create a hazy effect. Finish off the look with a coat of mascara.

Fan of winged liner? Take it two steps further with this geometric design that arches under the brow and frames the eye in one metallic fell swoop. The negative space paired with the silver and gold shimmer gives off a futuristic vibe—something you won't get from your traditional cat eye.
The Technique: For this look, pick an eyeliner or shadow in your favorite metallic shade. Starting at the outer corner of your eye, draw a diagonal line until the tip is parallel to the tip of your eyebrow. From that point, draw a curved line toward the inner eye that follows your unique brow bone shape. You can stop there, if you want! But if you need more gilded magic, line your top lid with another metallic shade, then swipe the color under the inner end of your brow.

It doesn't get much more minimalist than this! For nights when you're rushing out the door, this two-second trick will give you more dramatic results than 20 minutes with an eyeshadow pallette, guaranteed.
The Technique: There are two ways you can go about this simple look. Bring out the star-shaped gems or stickers and place them at the inner corners of your eyes. Or use a tattoo stamp (like the ones from Milk Makeup!).

If you typically go for a bold lip or a smokey eye, take this barely-there beauty look out for a spin. Not only is it a timesaver, but you may be surprised by how liberating it can feel to leave the backup mascara and five different lip products at home for once.
The Technique: For an even complexion, apply a tinted moisturizer and dab a little concealer on any blemishes you want to cover up. Groom your brows to your desired shape and texture, then apply a moisturizing lip balm to your lips, brow bones, and cheekbones for a natural-looking glow. Then you're done! Easy, right?

This beauty staple isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Pull it out when you need to channel your inner Brigitte Bardot.
The Technique: With a liquid liner, draw a fine line from the inner corner of your eye to the outer, extending it into a winged shape. Add as much depth to the line as you want, and clean up the shape with a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover. Finish off the eye with two coats of mascara and swipe on some neutral, rose-toned lipstick. For a night-out vibe, apply a layer of clear gloss to your lips.
