If a certain hue of pink reminds you of Malibu Barbie, the cover of Valley of the Dolls, or cotton candy, then you know you've found the perfect shade! Not only is it one of summer's most wanted colors (just ask our social media editor, photographed above), the ultra-feminine tone pays homage to the flashy beachgoers of the '80s and, of course, our favorite childhood chewing gum that inspired endless bubble-blowing competitions.
Bubblegum pink has made its way down the runway, too. A pale version added feminine flair to the grungy streetwear looks of Alexander Wang's fall 2016 show.
The versatile color is best served solid, but it can also be a great accent shade for French manicures—as worn by models in the Vivetta fall 2016 show at Milan Fashion Week—or a delightfully bright addition to any dope nail-art design. And an added bonus is that bubblegum pink complements any skin tone!
