Natural Does Not Equal Dull

You and your makeup drawer have a toxic relationship. These pure but not-so-simple beauty products will treat you much better, trust.

All-natural is great! It means free of harmful chemicals, sulfates, parabens, petroleum, ethoxylates, formaldehyde, GMO's, and artificial colors. It also used to mean that taking away all that bad stuff might make the product a bit diluted—and less fun—especially when it came to makeup. But all-natural beauty brands, which in the past offered the bare minimum (mascara, subtle loose powder foundation, modest blush, maybe a lightly tinted lip balm) have stepped up their game in a big way. It's entirely possible to replace everything in your makeup stash with all-natural products. Which means it's also possible to find that shade of bright yellow eyeshadow (here comes the sun!) or highlighter (hello, cheekbones) you've been searching high and low for in all-natural form.

We hunted down a few of some of the most striking, dramatic, poppy—and, yes, natural—beauty items out there right now.
