Do you ever get a whiff of a scent—damp pine needles, a particular roast of coffee, a light sea breeze—and instantly get taken back to a family vacation or nostalgic place? Michael Pass and Jose Alvarez, the founders of New York-based company Abbott, have found a way to bottle up four of the places they love most and turn them into colognes.
Cape Cod, Sequoia National Park, Telluride, and the Mojave Desert are the four destinations you'll be transported to by Abbott's scents. The best part? The cologne helps keep those places beautiful: for every bottle sold, the company donates $1 to four organizations that support the local environment—Association Preserve Cape Cod, Save the Redwoods League, Sheep Mountain Alliance, and the Mojave Desert Land Trust.
Not sure which destination speaks to you most? Read on to see which scents catch your eye—and then use them as yet another excuse to give back to the planet today.
