If you're familiar with Miuccia Prada's work, you know that nothing she does is conventional. Olfactories, her new fragrance collection for Prada, is no exception. Created to evoke dreams and memories specific to the individual wearer, the line is an exercise in surrealistic beauty. According to the brand, the scents were "devised as collages of uncanny experiences," and each has a description equally vague and poetic ("a cloud of pink bubbles floating through the heart of Tokyo" or "a modern encounter with the ancient, preserved for eternity in hardened honey," anyone?). The storied Italian fashion house then created 10 Surrealist-style collages to represent the essence of each fragrance in a tangible way. The 10 bottles, with names like Pink Flamingos and Tainted Love, are accompanied by a silk pouch in a signature Prada fabric.
If we had to pick a favorite, we'd go with Heat Wave. Described as "the scent of complicity in paradise, steamy and decadent," it is truly unlike any perfume we've ever come across.
