The Game: The Metagame
How It Works: Each player draws six culture cards that represent pop cultural figures, objects, or phenomena (like the Mona Lisa or Ms. Pac-Man). One player draws an opinion card that asks a question like "Which is a sign of the apocalypse?" The other players anonymously put down a culture card in response, and the remaining player picks the best answer as the winner of that round.
Why It's a Hit: If you have opinions about pop culture, now is the time to say them—the more outlandish, the better.
The Metagame, $25.
The Game: Intervention
How It Works: Each round, a player reads off a question card that asks which player would be mostly like to do/say/eat/feel something—for example, "Who most likely has a secret crush on someone in the room?" Everyone votes for someone and then guesses how many votes they received.
Why It's a Hit: Sometimes the game can get a little insulting, but always in a funny way. You'll end up learning a lot about what your friends think about you—for the better, we think.
