Want to make relaxing your job? Ashli Stockton proves you can.
There's nothing quite like slinking out from underneath your covers, throwing on a robe, making a cup of coffee, and lounging around your room with no pressure to do anything—and as it happens, there's an online shop that embodies that very feeling.
"When I began to hate my 'dream job,' Sundays became scary instead of lazy and magical like they're meant to be," says Sunday Forever founder Ashli Stockton. "I examined my life and knew I needed to make some changes. My new measure of success became my ability to make every single day of my life feel like a perfectly magical Sunday—hence, Sunday Forever."
Sunday Forever specializes in luxurious trinkets, billed as Nice Things on the website. "Nice Things to me are simple things that are done well or make me feel good—a physical object like a perfectly made kimono or candle, or even an experience. It's all about the tiniest of details."
Below, Stockton breaks down the offerings of Sunday Forever.
"The kimono was the first item I developed and sold. I fell in love with them on one of my many trips to Japan—wearing one made me feel comfortable and oddly glamorous. Designing my own was a long process but very worth it."
