"What Is That? I Want That."

That was every member of the Sweet team when we came across these must-have graphic tees, vintage jackets and breathtaking beauty products on social media. And then we bought them. And we have zero regrets. See something you like here?

What I Bought: Water Jet Vital Hydra Mask by Dr. Jart+

Dermask Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution, $6, sephora.com.

Who Made Me Buy It: All of the beauty folks backstage at Opening Ceremony's spring 2015 show (Dr. Jart+ provided the skin care), but also just Dr. Jart+'s Instagram account in general.

Why It's Awesome: Since I'm obsessed with brightening and hydrating skin-care products, I couldn't resist getting one of those cool-looking sheet masks, especially if it meant scaring my roommates and social media followers. On Sundays, I like to sit back and place a mask over my face, because on Monday I want my complexion to appear as if I've slept 12 hours while being injected with a serum of eternal youth. Dr. Jart+'s glorious sheet is the best product for such a demand. There are definitely other ones out there that have merit, but I will always stay faithful to this Korean-beauty MVP.

What I Bought: Lots of really good graphic tees

No one will argue with you about whether or not disco sucks when you look this cool.

Who Made Me Buy It: The model Camille Rowe (@fingermonkey)

Such a good one!

Why They're Awesome: I copy Camille Rowe's style all the time. Sorry, let me start over. I am *inspired by* Camille Rowe's style all the time. She's really good at a lot of things: Sunglasses, denim-on-denim, dressed-down dresses. But her strongest suit is probably graphic T-shirts. Her collection has inspired me to get reacquainted with my own T-shirt drawer and to start snapping up new styles all the time.

What I Bought: Saltwater Sandals

Saltwater Sandals, $41, modcloth.com.

Who Made Me Buy Them: Style blogger @taza

Why They're Awesome: I found these sandals on Instagram a few years ago and they're proven to be my trustiest summer shoe. They look good with just about anything and they're also waterproof—so they'll never get in the way of fun.

What I Bought: The summer issue (plus a subscription to) The Paris Review

Hailey's magazine styling was irresistible.

Who Made Me Buy It: @haileybentongates

Why It's Awesome: The Paris Review is one of the greatest literary magazines of all time, but I tend to just buy it periodically, when I'm in a bookstore and it's out on display. I've missed many issues this way. But Hailey Benton Gates, an advisory editor at TPR and the hoste of Viceland's State of Undress, reminded me just how necessary and stylish each issue is. On her Instagram, she's shot the magazine's latest issue on a complementary blue and white striped sheet in Formentera, Spain. But the sheet looks like a beach towel, the swimmers on the cover are in blue swimsuits, and I just suddenly wanted to have a Paris Review-styled life all day, every day. So I bought a subscription.

What I Bought: "It's OK" Banner by Secret Holiday Co.

Who Made Me Buy It: @secretholidayco

Why It's Awesome: It seem like dozens of the stylish, aesthetically refined Instagrammers that I follow have this encouraging, simple banner in their homes. I first scrolled past it a few years ago and have continued to admire it each time it popped up on my feed. Time after time, I convinced myself that the purchase would be too frivolous, but when I moved into a new apartment a month ago I found myself repeatedly visiting Secret Holiday Co.'s Instagram, wondering if I should finally invest in some motivational wall art to cover my aggressively blank bedroom wall.

About a week ago, I saw that the shop was having a summer sale, so I finally bit the bullet and bought the banner. Once this hanging is handmade and shipped my way, you can guarantee it'll be gracing my Instagram this time around.

What I Bought: Mom Jeans

Moto Light Bleach Mom Jeans, $70, topshop.com.

Who Made Me Buy It: Leandra Medine @manrepeller on instagram

If I think my butt looks great in mom jeans, does it matter what anyone else thinks? (No!)
Advertisement - Continue Reading Below

Why It's Awesome: I discovered @manrepeller on instagram, after someone I followed reposted one of her photos. I was maybe 16 or 17, and although I knew I loved fashion, my personal style was far from developed. Looking at her photos and reading what she wrote, I had an epiphany that all of my style decisions were made with a subconscious consideration of what the men in my life might think about them. After seeing her unflinchingly wear clothes she knew the men in her life wouldn't like or understand, I traded in my suffocating skinny jeans for some $3 mom jeans from Goodwill and I haven't looked back.

What I Bought: A Texas bomber jacket

The jacket hanging in all its glory, waiting for me to claim it.

Who Made Me Buy It: People of 2morrow @peopleof2morrow

Wearing my new weekend uniform as I proudly display a garage-sale painting I bought in Greenpoint for $5. It's bringing me good luck already!

Why It's Awesome: People of 2morrow is hands down my favorite clothing store in Brooklyn, but what makes them dangerous is their sneaky yet clever use of Instagram. Every day they post a few of their best pieces, which you can call dibs on simply by commenting "That's a wrap!" That's it! That's all you have to do! So if you don't grab it first, someone else will, which is why many of my trigger-happy purchases have been made in a panicked state of hysteria—but I regret nothing. Especially not this jacket, which helps me meet fellow Texans on the streets of New York every time I wear it.

What I Bought: White Birkenstock Arizonas

Arizona White Birko-Flor by Birkenstock, $100, birkenstockusa.com.

Who Made Me Buy It: Eva Chen's Instagram account @evachen212

Why They're Awesome: I first noticed these shoes on Eva Chen's Instagram a year or two ago in one of her many #EvaChenPose pictures, and I really liked them, but didn't think I would ever be able to pull off a pair of bright white Birkenstocks. But then I kept seeing them all over Instagram and couldn't stop thinking about how cool and comfortable they looked. The day that Sweet included them on our list of the most city friendly summer shoes, I took the plunge and bought a pair on my way home. They've become my most worn pair of shoes this summer because they look cool while still being absurdly comfortable. I only wish I had gotten them sooner.

What I Bought: Tons of random, obscure books

This one was one of my better scores.

Who Made Me Buy It: I frequently buy things from Idea Books (@idea.ltd) on Instagram and Bryan Schutmaat on Tumblr (bryanschutmaat.tumblr.com).

Why They're Awesome: I have always loved hunting around bookstores for interesting books, but being able to discover things online, often directly from the sellers who are so passionate and knowledgeable about them is a game-changer.

What I Bought: A linen caftan covered in embroidered snakes by Myfawnwy.

Most Popular

Who Made Me Buy It: The Rising States, @therisingstates

Why It's Awesome: I don't live in a cabin on an island off of the coast of Maine, but sometimes I wish I did. You know who does, though? Myfawnwy designer Maisie Maeve Myfawnwy Broome. She made this art teacher-y, snake-covered linen dress, which I spotted on a local boutique's Instagram account. It's very, very impractical for my normal life, but it's my go-to beach cover-up.

What I Bought: BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop

Champagne Collection by Becca x Jaclyn Hill, $38, sephora.com.

Who Made Me Buy It: BECCA Cosmetics @beccacosmetics

Why It's Awesome: I'm no makeup guru but I am trying to build up my essential pieces whenever I can. I've been hearing how great the BECCA highlighters are for a while now so when I saw a picture of this one glistening on Instagram it was just the push I needed to make my way over to Sephora and buy my own. I definitely wasn't disappointed; this looks so good against my skin and I now have to fight the urge to wear it everyday because it just looks that good. Also, the name itself (Champagne Pop) made me want to see what it was all about. I should do my shopping off of Instagram more often.
