How to Wear It: A pop of red on the lips, a jaunty silk scarf tied around the neck, or a full-on pantsuit.
Pop Culture Evidence: 2017 will finally be the year of the woman, after a very rocky 2016. With Hillary in office leading the charge (yep, I'm calling it!), next year we'll transition from Pink Power to Rowdy Red—because we have some hell to raise. So ring the alarm, this fiery red is going to be everywhere.

How to Wear It: You can wear it on your eyes, embroider it on a jacket, or just deck yourself out in the shade, from head to toe.
Pop Culture Evidence: In The Devil Wears Prada, Miranda Priestly gives Andy Sachs a brief lesson on trickle-down color theory; she traces the use of cerulean blue from Oscar de la Renta's 2002 collection to the clearance section of a budget mass retailer. This icy blue was all over the resort and haute couture collections for the summer 2017 season—and, according to Priestly's lesson, it's only a matter of time until I find that same hue all over H&M and Zara.
