New York-based designers of A Peace Treaty believe that things made by human hands are the most beautiful (and luxurious) in the world, and it's an ethos we wholeheartedly endorse. The designers have traversed the globe, seeking out skilled artisans trained in the traditional regional crafts. The designers work with local artists, including Aymara and Quechua weavers in Peru (who made these stunning striped scarves), to create different elements for each collection and to help preserve traditional handcrafts that have been practiced for centuries.
